CERBERUS Strongman Axle Bar

THE ESSENTIAL STRONGMAN BAR

Axle lifts have been around for a very long time and first appeared in strongman exhibitions, vaudeville spectacles and circus acts of the early 20th century. Louis “Apollon” Uni was the first to help popularise Axle lifts with the Apollon's Axle. It was a piece of a train with two wheels and a thick bar. Weighing 166 kilograms (366 lbs) and nearly 2-inch diameter with its smooth surface and the wheels not revolving.

The CERBERUS Strongman Axle Bar is based on this classic design, 50mm / 2 inches in diameter with fixed sleeves, NO knurling and finished in a durable black powder coat. As with our other unique CERBERUS bars our iconic Red rings are set at powerlifting spacing for easy set up and hand placement. With a 2200mm overall length and 1310mm between the collars this bar can be used in most power racks/cages and fits standard Olympic plates.
